Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta Encapsulation is the practice of ingesting the placenta after it has been steamed, dehydrated, ground, and placed into capsules and it’s believed to have many benefits that can help mothers adapt to their new lives. 

 

There are a few scientific studies on the benefits of placenta encapsulation however traditional wisdom and anecdotal evidence suggest potential benefits to ingesting the placenta  include

  • Balancing hormone levels
  • Improve iron levels
  • Increased energy
  • Help increase supply of  breastmilk 
  • Helps the uterus return to its pre-pregnancy size
  • Increases CRH (a stress reducing hormone)
  • Encourages bonding with the infant

Our Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist has taken the Bloodborne Pathogens training through Biologix, made specifically for placenta specialists. So, not only will your placenta be handled with love and care, it will be handled with everyone’s safety in mind as well.

 

We will have a consultation prenatally so that you know exactly what to expect and are prepared to help us safely process your placenta. Within 48 hours of your delivery, we will start your placenta encapsulation in your home.

Placenta Encapsulation is $300.

Pay in full (by 35weeks) and receive $25 off   OR   Pay $100 retainer to reserve your spot and make payments that work for your budget and schedule. Balance due by 38weeks (or before encapsulation starts if labor happens before 38weeks)
